I am a locksmith only way to program key is dealer software but sadly those keys can be cloned on a universal keyslike let's say they took it for a test drive it takes less than 1 minute to clone
Chevy and most new cars with Onstar have Guardian. If someone stole my Jeep, I'd just turn the bitsh off with my phone, set off the alarm, and tell the laws exactly where the GPS says it is.
All you need to do this is a 200-300 “flipper” and wait close by for the person to use their fob. You can use the flipper to record the frequency the fob let out and that lets you use push start vehicles very easily.
I will not help save thst ugly car i hope they total it
