We had a squirrel whose tail was dead. She drug it around for 2 years. It would drip blood on our deck all the time. It was flat and she had no control of it. This past spring, a branch fell out of a tree and she was on it. Must have hurt her. Only saw her a couple of times after that. She was having trouble walking. Must not have made it. She was one tough squirrel.
