I used to have a pug and a blue pit that were desperately in love. diamond (the pit) would protect the pug in the big dog park from the other dogs, even pinning a German shepherd to the ground one time for fucking with the pug. she never punctured the skin, just grabbed the dog by the throat and pinned him to the ground for a very long three mins until I could get her to let go.. when the neighbor kids would come to our gate and pet him thru the gate she'd lazily watch. until one time there were kids I saw poking a stick thru and hit him and she went ballistic. me being me, I opened the gate. (I made sure they had a decent enough head start) they were jumping up on cars to get away from her. I told them next time, I'm not going to warn you first, in just gonna let her go.. needless to say, it never happened again. I've never before or since seen two dogs so in love with each other..
