When is the right time for capturing wild animals, and putting them in enclosed areas way too small for us to thrive in!!??. Then the human tries to tame us in a chance to profit from us. How would you feel if you were trained to act in front of us, and rewarded with a smelt diet or some ungodly diet, which you feel is what we want .!!??

These beautiful mammals are extremely intelligent and they have feelings just like we do. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean they are little angels either. Some groups of killer whales behave very cruel to their prey in the wild. The things they do to seal pups I can not understand or watch again. Great whites make the kill last only seconds. But some whales will toy with them like a football for hours to the point they are skinned alive and still clearly aware. Nature is cruel but man can clearly be the most brutal

This happened in 2006. A lot has changed since then and with the debut of BlackFish.Humans do stupid and thoughtless things. The original animals never should've been captured. The fact is that we didn't know much about them back when that was occurring. When we were young how many of us were THRILLED to see SHAMU? I was. These whales were all born in captivity. A practice that SeaWorld stopped after the public became aware of how intelligent these animals are and the miserable lives they have in captivity. We learned. While it might seem like a great idea to let them go free....none of them know how to survive in the wild.Remember Free Willy? He died shortly after he was freed. Let's be glad that we learned from those mistakes we made and try not to repeat history.

Wild animals are not ours to keep in captivity or to exploit for money. This is not why God created animals. As humans, we have no right to do that to them !!!! And anything that happens to a human during incidents like this…….well, it’s just collateral damage to the human. Don’t put animals in captivity and expect them to be ok with it.

That was not a her, but a he/him. The trainer was at fault. Trainers are supposed to know the signs of a wales attitude by the way the wale is swimming and acting. Trainers are supposed to know when and when nit to get in the water with the wale, or wales.
Tilli stop putting the whales in little pools and stop putting them and waiting tanks and make sure they eat with their body. needs them to eat and the amount that they need and this would not happen. they are wild animals. they are not pets

That just goes to show you that the whales are frustrated. They don’t belong in captivity. People don’t pay to watch these shows because they take them from their habitats and put them in large pools to do shows for all the people that paid to see it. Well stop taking God's creatures and using abusing and taking advantage of them making them suffer and all for profit! If you listen and figure out the broken or just horribly AI written words, it sounds like the Killer whale was trying to play....didn't realize that the man couldn't stay under water as long as she could. Then she brought him to the surface, but was still scared. The trainer had to calm the whale before she let him go, and, of course, the trainer is freaked and runs to safety.I don't think it was an intentional act of harm
they need to stop treating orcas seals etc like pets for entertainment it's abuse they need to release them they don't belong in an aquarium
