So I have Medicaid and receive food benefits, and I'm thankful for it. I'm 50, male and a single parent of a disabled son that I've raised on my own for twenty-one years. There is no adult care available for him anymore because of budget cuts...I ran out of FMLA...had to quit my job of 12 years to care for my boy. Barely making it, but trying my hardest to figure out a way out of this rabbit hole. You're right on some counts, but not all. I want our independence back. God bless.

I don’t know where he got his fact from, this system never works for me. It was based on my income, and since I was a Dollar over poverty level, I didn’t qualify for anything.
It's how socialism starts. the government starts with little steps to get you dependant on them. then they slowly start taking bigger steps. look at how many want to give out monthly payments, once the people are dependant, they have control.
WIC, Section 8 EBT EDD belong to the people because they come out our takes. However he is right , when we don’t abide by the rules set forth by the officials we elect(reflect on that) they kick us out. When I was in the military and had my first child j was walked into the WIC office by my senior NCO. Things are set in place to help. But we started treating the crutch like the pillar.
