This is why the internet is dangerous. This kid was just making a volcano science project, but the instructions were unclear on the amount of baking soda, vinegar, and ammonium nitrate needed to make it erupt. Poor kid never stood a chance. All joking aside, this is still the most amazing and terrifying explosion I’ve ever seen. Most nuclear test videos don’t seem to capture the raw power the way this one did thanks to all the cell phone videos. Every time I see this pop up in my feed I can’t help but watch it over and over. Incredible, and incredibly sad at the same time.
