The truth: partially true. After investigation, both internal & external, it was learned this event was put on by a group that rented space from the Mosque for the event. Materials were not vetted prior to the event. The message was condemned by the head of the Muslim American Society who also said these views do not represent mainstream American Islamic faith but an extreme right wing group. We see similar rhetoric among all extreme religious groups.

Why is this allowed in the United States? I understand different religions have different beliefs. We all don’t have to agree with them, but teaching kids this kind of violence about chopping heads off and sacrificing yourself can only lead to problems when they grow up.
