I could watch this video for hours. I’ve never seen one with such black antlers, black face, and black legs like that I’ve seen them tan but nothing this stunning. This boy has been around for many years and I hope nobody hurts him and respects the fact that he has made it this long and let him live
That is one majestic animal. I don’t know how anybody could shoot an animal that’s gorgeous. You could tell by the rat that this old boy has been around for a long time and hopefully many years to come
I've had this exact thing happen to me in Colorado while Jeeping Engineers Pass between Lake City and Silverton. I was the lead jeep coming off the summit and heading back into the tree line. Once we left the perma frost into the tree line we came around a hairpin curve and before we could even straighten the wheels there they were; jumped up on the jeep trail and almost a dozen were standing close enough we could touch their sholders. Their massive heads and antlers were above our roofline. These creatures are so majestic, so beautiful, magnificent, and beyond huge. up close, they look prehistoric like they never evolved. Thank you so much for sharing your story.I got to revisit one of the most unique experiences i've kept hidden in my brain. 👍

so beyond blessing you . wow God Shows up. i live with Elks In the high country Colorado. My darling always had a big hey feeding station. . we use to park our cars and bikes there. In the winter we were like the Elk bar 4 30. am. there hugh. stand by my car. just looked like a little Hot Wheel. So amazing camera. so steddy. it apears you have done somethings. They are impressive animals. I didn't know Highlands Ranch has their own herd. I was driving down Daniel's Park road, and saw at least 75-80 Head of Elk in the meadow of Cherokee ranch. Very impressive!
