This is not AI. A black bear can have cubs with white fur due to a double recessive gene unique in subspecies. They can also have a complete white cub, not a polar bear. These rare cubs are called spirit bears, not albino.

The mama bear brings her cubs next to highways to get male bears off her trail. Male bears kill baby male cubs to prevent him from having to battle with them when they grow up. Grown male bears avoid highways because of their fear of vehicles is how the mama bear protects her cubs hanging out where adult male beats rearly if ever go.

I have never heard of anything like this. Only Pandas and Polar bears have white. Those Russian bears have a white spot on their chest. This is really unusual.

I’ve seen one in Maine, north of Lincoln, lots of black bears up in those parts, lots of deep woods , and lakes. They show up everywhere, there aggressive predators as well as great hunters. If you’re to close to their cubs, you don’t even see the cubs, it’s the distance between them to you mama will kill you if you even attempt to get close to her babies.
