I am an old white fart...I worked construction and travelled for work.,.my last job was in South GA. where everyone was black, except me...But these were country folk and I spent 2 years with the best crew I have ever worked on. I've never been racist, but I had misgivings about taking the job (lots of gang activity), but my crew took good care of me, told me where to go and not go, etc. I wish I could go back there, but there is little work now...I keep up with some of them and they are struggling...
