This is what most upset me about the wingnut anti-vaxxers during COVID. When I was a little kid in the ‘50s, right before they were about to distribute the Salk polio vaccine, they took our second-grade class on a field trip to the local hospital to see a man in an iron lung from polio (post-infectious phase, obviously). Let me tell you, not one kid was afraid to get the jab after seeing that. Vaccines are a miracle of modern medicine, one of humanity’s greatest achievements. Anyone with a brain knows the miniscule risk of taking a vaccine is nothing compared to the risk of not taking it.
Cleaning up his excrements inside that chamber would be extraordinary achievement in itself.
I read about him many years ago.I couldn’t imagine his plight.I would have panic attacks so bad and feel so claustrophobic.It’s almost like being in a coffin and half buried alive.He was a remarkable man and very intelligent.Not many people could handle what he endured all those decades.
Can’t even fathom the restrictions that put on his life yet he achieved more than many people. May God give him vitality and a healthy body in the resurrection.

There was a documentary on him. It told a lot of his journey and how fabricators saved his life more than once when parts were no longer found.
🙏 What an INCREDIBLE man. He was blessed with Spirit and drive unlike many these days. He got polio just before a vaccine was available. 😔 Definitely a story to highlight how important getting vaccinations can be.
