mine shafts and old caves are steel plated for the purpose of keeping people out. I've spent a good portion of my life going out and finding places like this. Its not for the weak. Cave and mine exploring is very dangerous and even with my experience can be very precarious. I've seen this kind of thing on multiple occasions. We have cut them open and explored. They usually do this because these places become unstable and are not safe for people to go in. Yes I know Im playing with my own life but I have dedicated myself to being extremely over prepared with gear and supplies. This is still no guarantee that things won't go very bad. Unless you are with some very knowledgeable and experienced people dont go in.

there's something bigger than that in the White Tank Mountain Park outside of Phoenix. Luke AFB had used the mountain for many things during WW2. but removed everything before it became a County Park. except for 1 I found, the 12 ' high fence was shining for something from 1941. Inside that were massive steel doors with locks and US Government Stay out signs. Definitely felt like I was being watched.
