Idk if tanks have locks, but I wouldn’t personally sleep in one because night ops from the opposite force could throw a grenade in there whilst everyone is sleeping
under the tank is where your supposed to sleep just saying that's how Many did it
not to mention there's no room to kay down anywhere.
in ww2 most would sleep under the tank that way you dont get a grenade dropped in with you in the middle of the night, and if a plane bombed the tank you were much more likely to survive
They probably don’t sleep in tanks because in a battlefield there’s multiple explosions happening nearby and enemy’s that are on low ground can easily open your tank and then hold you for hostage or kill you and you can get maybe hit by an explosion that can end you immediately
why not create something that can suck the hot air in and something that can push hot air out and I know fans and stuff exist but I mean like one made for a tank idk I'm not a inventor but they could definitely make something if they really wanted too.
from a Navy LT, the safest place on the battlefield, is in an Ohio Class Submarine. No where safer on earth as he would describe it. A city destroyer from deep in the sea.

so we can spend money on new planes and gear to kill but can't invest some money in a spot to fit a heat and AC unit on a tank to try to keep our boys somewhat comfortable while they gotta do shit most people can't imagine?
tanks are uncomfortable. I know some people who can make it comfortable tho, they use special material to coat the armor, making it I dunno not lose heat at night nor get hot during the day.
They also forgot to mention that when and if they’re at war they aren’t able to step out possibly even for days therefore meaning they have to pee and poo in there making the smell unbearable
yea yea all that might be true but you forgot to mention if you need to sleep in the tank is probably cuz you at war and what do you think is the first thing the enemy its gonna blow up? forget about the cold i. worry a out a damn missiles.
