At this point the Mexican military is not capable of taking care of the cartels. The cartels have gotten so powerful that they are now directly affecting American lives on American soil. Regardless of who’s our president, this fire needs to be fought with explosives, not more fire. The Mexican government has clearly shown incompetence and they clearly cannot even govern their own country no matter their efforts because of their incompetency. Mexico needs to fully cooperate with their US neighbors because this isn’t just a Mexico issue anymore. Otherwise Mexico needs to be annexed and this shit needs to be dealt with swiftly.
