well u could see the hurt and sadness in his eyes seeing everones family members there for them, and hes alone. i think this is something they need to change for this reason. And to this mans family members, i hope to God there was a big emergency or a good reason yall wasn't there for him.
that is a stupid game to play. not everyone can afford to take time off to travel or are well enough to do so. It is not like basic training is just down the road. it's a few hundred miles most times.

It's a special feeling when you get tapped out, is what I'm told... never been in the military but have family members that are....and the sad part is sometimes there is know one to tap you out...that's where friends become family
