Common sense says this should have been passed decades ago. Then you have to enforce it. Dems would never do that. Give 20 years to anyone voting illegally. But them Bozeman would just block it.
Yesterday I had a doctors appointment. I had to show my ID and an Insurance card. My wife had Jury Duty...a government run business, and she had to show ID. I fly several times a year and I have to show an ID. How do People on welfare get and use the money thats given to them without an ID? can you drive without an ID? Can you purchase cigarettes and alcohol legally without an ID? Come on people. Getting an ID isnt hard. The democrats hate this bill because they wont be able to cheat during elections. Everybody knows this. Its not about disenfranchisement. What a scam. And these people want to be in power?
Why is GOP so intent on making voting harder? Has documented cases been produced to justify same? Why has such not been made known? 🙏🏼
Why? The Senate must have 60 votes (that they don’t have) to pass the bill. Instead of wasting time on this “fake issue” why isn’t Congress focused on the Massive Budget Deficit, fixing Medicare/Medicaid and ensuring the survival of Social Security. I guess none of those issues are important. 🙄

Most Americans as they learn more about the SAVE act (which will not pass) will realize it has nothing to do with voter fraud. It’s about voter suppression. Most Americans do not realize that the ID means a passport (which are expensive and many do not have and Trump is making more difficult to get) or a certified or original birth certificate (not a copy) and if you are a woman that changed her name in marriage you’ll also need an original or certified copy of your marriage license. For some people these things are not easy to obtain. The Rs and Trump as usual - rather than dealing with real problems like our economy and the horrible war he started - they waste time creating a solution to a nonexistent problem.

To the various Senators and members of the House who are supporting this issue please provide proof that non citizens have been voting in previous elections and ineligible voters did vote. Our locally elected state Secretary of State and the local elections officials have been doing a good job insuring fair elections. Plus the constitution state elections are the rights of the states not federal government. Local officials have check and balances to sure only legal voters cast ballots and vote counts reflect the ballots casted. Never had any questions on legality of elections until DJT couldn’t accept the results of 2020 elections, in his mind he came up fraud being the only reason people would not didn’t elect him. Keep elections local.
