Joe how many of all those others you are describing have had their addresses posted on a public forum, their families names and information also posted. Receive death threats to them and their friends and families accosting and bullying their children at school and public places! How many have attempts made on their life EVERY DAY THEY WORK?? Would this stalking harassing behavior be allowed or accepted toward any other public officials? Their jobs are dangerous enough on a daily basis, but then add on all this extra unauthorized, unwarranted actions of these people, especially when the politicians, officials and people they idolize or respect tell them to go out and stop those people from doing their jobs, they encourage and entice these people and yes many are even paid to interfere. STOP THOSE FROM THAT BEHAVIOR ALLOW THESE OFFICERS TO ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOBS AND WATCH THINGS CALM DOWN!!

joe I normally support you but no... when you're pulled over by a police officer nobody ever checks the officers credentials before accepting the ticket or getting in the police car. it would be a very rare instance that someone took the officer's name in bad's number and called down to the station and got verification that it was a real officer before they allowed them to arrest them
