No the law has not been violated. There is a big difference in reminding someone that their oath they took says they are not to follow unlawful orders and saying dont follow unlawful orders. Already what is happening is trump and hegseth are passing the fault of the murders of the people in the boats to the naval officers because the ones that pulled the triggers are the ones who are going down. Each one of those 80 killings were illegal and somebody is going to have to take the blame. The military are to follow orders but when they know it is wrong they do not have to follow the order and by law are not supposed to follow any unlawful order.

Covers the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and their respective Reserves, as well as commissioned merchant vessels. Unfortunately that doesn't apply to federal agents. They haven't even amended it to add Space Force yet.
