No the law has not been violated. There is a big difference in reminding someone that their oath they took says they are not to follow unlawful orders and saying dont follow unlawful orders. The military is not allowed to follow illegal orders, which is exactly what USC 18 is all about. Reminding the military that their remit is outside of the US, not inside and that military personnel are forbidden by the USMC, from obeying an unlawful order. Those military members that do so should be courts martialed for doing so.
