These businesses should have followed the laws. There are consequences for breaking the laws. It's not about hiring someone who is from another country, it's the hiring practices they use that are illegal and I'm sure they knew exactly what they were doing.

If they are legal immigrants they can apply for a social security number and legally work in America. If they are illegal immigrants they cant get a social security number and if they do have a job, no federal, local or state taxes are being paid. When ICE is there they should take note of any business that is closed and when ICE leaves send the IRS to those businesses that were closed to audit their books.
