The video was made because Legal Action Agencies reported being overwhelmed by calls from active service members of the armed forces asking about illegal orders. Those Senators are completely justified in making a Public Service Announcement explaining they don’t have to follow illegal orders.
There were no illegal orders . Unnecessary 🥰 incitement of division by Democrats
The problem is there was absolutely no need for Democrats to make a video or statement like this. It comes off less like “informing the public” and more like a political maneuver aimed at planting doubt within the military ranks. It subtly encourages service members to second-guess or selectively interpret presidential orders by framing everything around “lawful vs. unlawful,” as if the military is supposed to freelance legal opinions in real time. That kind of messaging is reckless and irresponsible. Civilian control of the military only works when political parties don’t try to weaponize the chain of command for their own advantage. This video crossed a line, and they knew exactly what they were doing.
