I’m wondering If he was running his roofing business on a cash basis without paying into unemployment insurance,not paying state taxes, and not obtaining proper permits and insurance can he be deported for criminal activity especially if he’s an asylum seeker?

Terrible! Vermonters are up in arms about how liberal the court system is for criminal offenses (violent crimes and drug trafficking). Yet those true criminals are out, where as these people are detained in correctional facilities. They’re seeking asylum, in process of becoming citizens (a long and expensive process!), out working and contributing to our state economy! They’re seeking asylum aren’t criminals!
