Because the ACA sucks
The point is that the ACA is a failure. All of our insurance is going up and it will continue to go up as long as Democrats continue to force taxpayers to pay whatever amount insurance companies want to increase their fees. The companies have a captive market and no reason to lower premiums.
And the solution is….?? Still waiting.
If it needs subsidies it means it’s not a working plan, stop screwing the American people

What about everyone else? It isn’t just those who have the ACA. It’s also those who purchased regular insurance, Medicare recipients who purchase secondary insurance for all those areas Medicare does not cover. Let’s just give subsidies to everybody. Why just the ACA?🙄

I heard on a news segment today, that you can make as much as $600k, and still be receiving these subsidies. I thought they were only meant for low income.
Healthcare costs are ALSO soaring for individuals who don’t receive subsidies for healthcare; AND these individuals are paying the taxes that fund subsidies.

I have no interest in paying for your Healthcare. I pay over 800 a month for my wife and I on Medicare.

Obama care was the worst case scenario for this country for healthcare. It was not going to be a free ride as some expected and with the cost of the premiums going up. Guess what the working class and the poor working class have to pay for private health insurance then you have the seniors and they have to pay for Medicare and health insurance. No one is going to get a free ride on medical care. Now speaking of Medicaid yes you should work for your Medicaid just like the rest of us have to work for healthcare.
Subsidy cliff is the worst…. Effectively it leads to an income cap. If you’re struggling on the edge need to trim back savings and investments and side gig income you had relied to to make ends meet…. All while needing to “find” more Money to pay spiked premiums even if you stay under the cliff threshold and get the subsidy. So take that savings account money and pay off the mortgage so you “make” more income by not paying that mortgage every month. Pay off those detfered interest accounts. The banks get less money and probably have a economic wage effect that will hopefully bite greedy money-wrangling republicans in the 🫏

medical personnel are driving costs up
The plan that was subsidized was done under Biden during covid,it was supposed to be a temporary thing but nothing under government ever goes away. It helped around 24 million but 2 million are now facing higher rates. Maybe find a way to help the 2 million instead of keeping the ACA that made all are rates go up over 300%.
