The food banks barely help anybody, and if you're in a place with an underfunded transit system, and you don't have reliable transportation, you're pretty much sol... it's almost not even worth it if you're a single household either... and the pantry here only allows you to go once a month... so, speaking from experience here....

Is he paying for this? No it is easy to look like he cares when he is spending other people’s money He is a big backer of the government shutdown. If the Democrats want to look like hero’s they should end the government shutdown. A better solution would be for him to do his job and bring jobs to Illinois!

Well the food banks in our county have no meat items. Mostly canned and box good with zero protein and not anything that substitutes an actual meal for kids so this is a minimal amount of help for families in need IMO.
