That’s the whole point!! Renovations to the white house, or any governmental building, should be paid by tax payer dollars. Not privately funded. The ballroom is being paid for, not from trumps actual out of pocket money, but from mega donors. Private donors. So now, the president is beholding to these companies/people/entities to give them whatever they want. Political pay to play. The white house is “the peoples house”. should be approved by congress, 💲allocated by congress and paid for with money from taxpayers.
