NEVER in U.S. history has a clean CR caused a government shutdown. The current budget is the BIDEN BUDGET. The CR is to accept ALL the current spending (no cuts, no additions) until the budget is finalized in December!!! This shutdown is a joke and is 100% a Schumer Shutdown. The Democrat Party owns this mess!
The democrats filed their amendments on September 17, they had 13 days to negotiate and chose not to. Democrats could have signed a clean continuing resolution and refused to do so. They could have had 60 days to negotiate and have chosen not to negotiate.

Shutdown is on Democrats! Many States are "gaming the system" by classifying non-emergency healthcare as an emergency and Medicaid foots the bill for illegals. Moreover, many migrants were inappropriately given "asylum status" and Medicaid is footing the bill for them too. Lastly, the "extra subsidies" for ACA health insurance was for COVID-19 concerns. Those concerns have past!! Dems are lying. Dems shutdown the government to cover illegals healthcare and extend COVID19 subsidies!
