I'm concerned about accountability and fairness. In my opinion, if someone has done something wrong, they should face consequences. However, a former lawyer mentioned that the person affected didn't file the claim. Why is this in court? Is it because the person in power makes a phone call because he/she wants revenge? If that’s the case, should interference charges be in play? It’s like persuasion! Who knows money our favor was exchange? What about harassment charges? Abuse of power charges? Tarnish of reputation charges? I’m not a attorney, but all these things are coming in my head.
