I just have a small criteria for it. find me a person who can be verrified as born prior to 1865 who personally experienced slavery in the United States who is still alive 160 years after slavery was ended, and ill gladly sign any petition to ensure that person is paid reparations for the events they went through. "my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was a slave so I (someone who was not alive 6 generations ago) deserve to be paid for what they went through." is not how this works.
In the early 1600's over 300,000 thousand Irish were taken and placed in coffin ships and were transported to the US..They were the first slaves brought to America (The New World) But the Irish were referred to as bond servants..With me my ancestry are Irish & Scandinavian..Funny how they never mention reparations for my ancestors.
