Just grateful that it won’t be constantly sticking me inside the waistband any longer. Most of us have been carrying concealed for years. Now it’s no different, just a potential visual deterrent for when criminals see them. Places won’t be such soft targets due to weapons’ increased visibility- don’t forget approximately 1/3 of all shootings are stopped by a legally-carrying gun owner. Don’t forget stolen guns are still & always will be illegal & cops should be able to stop & check ownership. I’d be all for that because none of mine are stolen.

after reading some of your comments,and giving it some thought, and talking to law enforcement, this will put them on a higher alert than usual, there are more illegal and stolen guns on the streets and most are carried by under age young people, some have never been to a gun safety class or firing range,yes I own guns and they are for me and my family protection, as an army veteran I know how to use one. neither will I make myself a sitting duck by displaying one,if they see you have a gun, you become a target.i learn this when I took a firearms class.as my instructor said be responsible and be safe, because you can end up on the wrong side of the law,doing what you thought was right.
People can't keep words to themselves. I disagree with President Trump's blanket law allowing all 50 states. Somebody will say something and some kid will pop off a shot and everyone will start shooting. Crossfire danger alone in crowed venues should be a caution. Kids have no value for life, and or circumstances for their actions.

I'm going to be honest I have Petty thefts which made me a felon from 15 years ago when I was on drugs and now I'm not I have never been in trouble in that whole time can I now get a gun if I'm in Florida?? I mean it's been over way over 10 years so I guess I'll Google it but I do live in Florida where I need a weapon for protection bear spray does not work

I'm just glad because I am only 150 pounds and of a thin build. I will just feel better now because most of my clothes I print when I conceal carry, so even though I will mostly conceal carry, I'll just feel more comfortable knowing we can open carry as well.

just like concealed carry....but you see it😆
In Florida, you are already among so many concealed carriers. You just don't see it. So, open carry is just different to see them.
