I am a believer in free speech, but people need to understand when they’re employed their speech cannot impact the business or the share holders. I’d love to read some of the comments of the left advocating for free speech back four years ago when conservatives were being canceled and their speech was being monitored and squashed. You remember the letter from Zuckerberg as an example. I’m sure they were all just as passionate then as they are now.🤣

This is a slippery slope, and you have to look at it from an outside perspective WITHOUT party affiliation. Everyone wants to make it Red vs. Blue, and it's probably company policy. How many employers have a company social media policy? You signed it, and a business has the right to terminate based on the damage a person may cause their product and/or reputation. Teachers who are teaching should not be pushing their beliefs on students, and honestly, a human being that celebrates the death of a person with a different opinion is vile. I dont care what side you come from. Now, let's look at something else. The same ones complaining ow were the same ones that had people fired, mocked, and beaten over their beliefs on: covid, Floyd, lgbtq, maga, and other things. We need to stop pretending that this is only JUST now happening. It has happened for years. Freedom of speech is against the government, but employers can say otherwise.
