Yes, slavery was in existence before imperialism and colonialism, it was practiced in the middle east and Africa. The sub-Saharan slave trade provided slaves to the middle east. Also, NATIVE AMERICANS also practiced slavery, there were over 350 Different tribes and none of them were smoking a peace pipe. What do you think they would do with other captured people from other tribes? They killed them or enslaved them.

I don't understand. I was not a good student and hated school as a child. loved math and history and would read almost anything. I'm 74 going on 75 and read about "World Slavery" as a whole. Slavery, at the time, usually happened when one victorious army conquered another and enslaved the defeated army's people. A very Strong Muslim presence throughout the world allowed some (the Pirates of Tripoli) and others to enslave people and the Irish suffered greatly at this time. The African Tribal Chiefs sold their captives into Caribbean slaves which made their way to America. So Slavery has been an issue on this planet since peoples introduction onto this Gods Green Earth. 🤔 Not in the U.S.A. or Britain but slavery continues in some parts of this planet Earth. So my fair Lady here is right and there are no reparations to be paid by anybody. I pray that all countries end conquering all other countries by wars, and end the practice of enslaving other people. 🤔💜🙏💜

my company gave everyone in the production side a huge raise a few weeks ago, some recieved much more than most because of their talents, work ethics. and productivity. When I asked the vp of operations privately if it had anything to do with the big beautiful bill act and the tax cuts for the business owners, he said 💯, they gave a large raise in 2019, and now again in 2026..... hmmmmm
