who is doubling down on things that don't work? okay sparky, name me one city or state that has gotten safer with stricter gun laws. just one example please. If strict gun laws make people safer, it shouldn't be hard to find.

How about just securing the schools? Metal detectors and wands. How about securing doors that are locked and shut in each class room and outside entrance doors? Not easy,not convenient and not cheap. Guns don't kill people,people do. People who own guns legally don't mass murder children or anyone else. Gun laws are for law abiding citizens,so revamping them won't work,it hasn't. It's not about corporate greed,it's about not being proactive in protecting our children in schools due to expense and inconvenience. You have a gun at home to protect your family aka children...why not designated adults,trained or former military to monitor halls etc.
