Houston generally don't draw large protest I believe we have had 2 large ones in my life time and only one turned into a riot in the 1970s maybe other major cities should see how we protest in a civil manner and do the same, say what you want about my city but we make an effort to get along even being a blue city

This is the improper use of the US military! You do not send the US military to patrol its own citizens. That is the way to weaken the US military influence on its own soil. The US military is not the police force and things in this country have not gotten out of control to deploy troops on the citizens. It's not a civil war! The military is trained to fight domestic and International terrorism, not citizens who are exercising their rights to protest. Trump is going to have people frowning down and disrespecting the military like we do with corrupted policing.
