He has been ordered removed by two judges in Texas two times. He can’t apply for asylum with criminal record. It needs to be denied
So he had an immigration hearing, an appeal on that hearing, an emergency hearing for asylum and now he gets another asylum hearing? This is not due process this is abuse of process and he needs to be deported.
The law says that asylum seekers have to ask for asylum within one year of entry. He came here in 2011. That's why the last deportation order was signed- he tried to apply for asylum purely to delay the deportation. It doesn't work like that- they don't get to stomp on all the requirements and THEN use asylum as a get-out-of-jail-free card. This is what people mean when they say they are sick of migrants exploiting our laws to get what they want. We have immigration laws- either respect them or get out.
