That flag is a symbol of what makes this country what it is.. Each star represents a state in our country thus it represents all of us. the red stripes represents the blood of those who gave their lives carving this great nation, and to the men and women who have defended it.. it's far more than just colored cloth, when you say the pledge of allegiance to the flag you are honoring it,and our country for what it stands for... people do not respect themselves anymore, much less the symbols that give them their freedoms here... it's not free speech, it's desecration to abuse our flag . when you end up in a less fortunate society, you will understand then what you had here,and what was represented by that flag!
