in my younger years I didn't agree with the death penalty. I seen situations where an innocent man was sentenced to death and was actually not guilty what so ever. But now, I'm so for it. So, if I just help my friend with burying a drugged body, but he actually did the dirty work, I should get less years in prison. At no time, did it even occur to him this was a bad idea? less sentence? No. it's called participation without a conscience.
I think they both deserve new sentences. This time...they should both be sentenced to DEATH. I'm a very fair guy, though, so I don't think we should make it excruciatingly painful or anything. The high school couple left a family dinner at Justine’s home on Labor Day 2003 and met up with Fernandez. They drove to the woods in Fernandez's car, Bezemer strangled her, then they took her to the pre-dug grave, stripped her, poured on her what investigators believe to be methanol and buried her. Sad 😢 They don't deserve to be released at all.
Anyone that could even watch, let alone help dig a grave to bury someone alive should never be let out of jail. These two are not worth saving. Let them stay in jail for and rot for the rest of their lives.👍🏼

You could have called the cops, you could have done a lot of things and you didn't. That makes you just as liable as he is. Boyfriend got 25 to life. His friend 15 to life. Under California law a sentence of 25 years to life means that the person must serve 25 years before they become eligible for parole (15 years/15 served). This was 2003. His friend could of been out in 2018. 25 years is up in 2. From that point forward it's up to the parole board on when/if the person is released. I'd hope that these two cowards are never let out of prison. However, I'm sure that somewhere along the line some judge is going to let them out. It'll be the worst mistake of that judge's life. These two will do it again. They got off on Justine's fear and their control over it. Their highly thought out plan makes me think this wasn't their first rodeo. Life should be life and that life should come to an end within a years time. Why should anyone be made to pay, for someone to live, who commited murder? A life sentence is a death sentence. No, it isn't murder (don't even try to start that). It's the killers permanent penalty.

The article I read about Fernandezs' resentencing hearing only mentioned that the 17 yr old victim was strangled to death. No matter what, I am so happy his case was denied. He can have a parole hearing in 2027. Beazeamer was denied parole at his most recent hearing and is able to try again in 5 yrs. They are both sick individuals and do not ever deserve to breath fresh air ever again. They are sick twisted individuals that preplanned that young woman's murder and deserve the sentences they received. I feel sorry for the family that are forced to relive their daughters murder at each and every hearing. Disgusting.
