Idiotic! You will not be able to take the guns of criminals, only those of law abiding citizens! That means criminals will rule as the police can’t protect everyone. A good law would be to add 20 years to the sentence of anyone who is not allowed to have a gun and 20 more years if they used a gun in a crime. Better would be to ship them to a prison in a third world country! We would save millions and would be help that country’s economy! Also, remove a repeat criminal’s citizenship!

So long as those illegals are or have been convicted of life threatening crimes. Otherwise, you assume all illegals are statistically violent. Same holds for guns; sensible registration of firearms and restricting their access by crimi also, mentally unstable or semi/automatic rifles/guns makes guns violence reduction viable. It still protects responsible gun owners. And, it cuts into NRA/gun lobby pocketbook. oh dear!
