How can a judge stop what the house and senate passed.
An appointed district court judge is changing national policy by reversing a law passed by both houses and signed off president, all of whom were elected by the people.
This judge needs a good lesson, Congress passed it and the president signed it. This is the law and a judge cannot interfere in the law making process. They interpret the law but done make them. This judge should be removed from the position.
I may have missed it, so can someone please tell me when it was that district judges were granted the effective equivalent of a "line item veto" authority on Federal law ?
