When you get to the level of a Director, it doesn’t matter if you did serve even in that agency before. Those selections are made usually from the Senior Executive Service unless they come from the military. Now Pete Hegseth’s experience not only consists of command roles in the U.S. Military, he was. NY Police Officer and probably most importantly, a U.S. Secret Service Agent. Pete is more than just highly qualified. In fact, he is more highly qualified than most democratic Congressmen are for their positions
