Trump should be impeached immediately!
I want him impeached also, but I understand the impeachment process. The process begins in the House. Impeachment is no guarantee of removal. Impeachment by the House is equivalent to a criminal indictment. If the House garners enough votes for impeachment, it then goes to the Senate for trial. In the Senate it takes a two thirds majority vote in favor of removal. So a democratic majority is needed in the Senate and several republican senators to vote with the democrats for removal to take place. So if 67 votes can be obtained in the Senate in favor of removal he has to get up out of there. That’s a hard task given the current political climate.
