if this one lesson was taught in class rooms the history of Black America would be understood better when it's said America was built by Black Americans.
This is the truth that some people want to erase. They do not want to see that America was built on our ancestors' free labor. They don't want to acknowledge that after slavery there was a systematic slavery. DEI Rollbacks put 300,000 black women out of jobs. Are people to believe they were as unqualified as this administration? Have you looked at the job statistics currently? 35,000 people lost their jobs in August and another 32,000 in September, just in the private sector, this does not include government jobs, but people believe there are 54,000 jobs that opened up across the united states. We'll go on the government websites or look at my posts and see the numbers for yourself.
My family came way after all this. My great grandfather came here as an orphan sold to a family in Canada as a farm boy once he became age, he was able to leave the farm in Canada and come into New York.

After the American Revolution (1775–1783), most Northern states gradually abolished slavery. Vermont (1777) – first to ban slavery completely. Pennsylvania (1780) – passed a gradual abolition law. Massachusetts (1783) – ended slavery through a state court decision. By 1804, every Northern state had either abolished or passed laws to phase out slavery.

There were very few slaves in this country and mainly worked on plantations. Picking cotton or tobacca, they did not build this country. The white man built the country, laid the railroad tracks. built the skyscrapers the buildings in towns black people were a very small minority in this country. They did not build it. oh and what she is leaving out not all slaves were black and in the 19th century after slavery many Irish Scottish and African immigrants were treated worse and paid less then the freed slaves who were paid less then the prominent European countries thankfully this was also ratified remember we need to keep moving forward not get stuck on the past
