Term limits are a waste of time. It hasn't solved a thing and only allowed for the spreading of incompetence to another office. If you want real term limits, once you have been termed out, then you can't hold office for a minimum of 10 years. Otherwise, it's nothing more than political whack-a-mole.

They only way we will ever get term limits is for the people to insist that it be put on the national presidential ballot as a referendum for the people to vote on. I believe that would require a convention of the states with at least a 33-state acceptance. I'm sure it would pass if voted on. However, we all know that's not going to happen or it would have been done by now.
