Because our founding fathers knew they weren't going to get it all, correct the first time around and gave room for there to be ways to change the constitution.That's why we have so many amendments

Did the constitution say before that you didn’t have a right to own guns and then it was amended to say you have the right to own guns now or did they recognize that they needed to have an amendment to ensure that people will have the right to own guns in the future there is a difference
