People that work from home are showing up for work. The question was misleading.
The private sector has different policies if you don't show up to work such as a no call no show. It doesn't mean you get terminated. It depends on what the policies are its not black and white. in some cases the person will get suspended. If it's a union employee it all depends what the policy is and was negotiated with the company or place of employment.
It isn't that they are not showing up. They are working remotely , a big difference .
