The whole prison system is corrupt from top to bottom and the way it operates behind the scenes. It’s all about money very few care about rehabilitation of prisoners. I don’t know why people are so surprised that correction officers are getting money illegally when damn near everyone else is doing it and paying themselves the state doesn’t pay enough anyway . They have come up with more ways to send people to prison so that they can get cheap or free labor longer and continue to put the money in their own pockets modern day slavery and before any one says any bs about not breaking the law you won’t go to prison. Think about how many people who are in prison that don’t deserve to be there from innocent people to people who have been sentenced unfairly for whatever they have done lost decades of their lives for something that they didn’t do or wasn’t that serious to begin with .
that goes to show that the corrections officers should get a raise and they wouldn't have to sell drugs thank you now I'm sorry community but that's how it is if you wanted to do a good job pay them the right amount of wage!!!
I mean, does it really matter that the death row patients have drugs in their system? I mean they’re gonna die anyways they might get high one last time before they die. Hell, I mean, I understand contraband in the rest of the prison but death row I mean, I don’t understand why they’re doing autopsy on them that cost to stay a lot of money to do autopsy on the inmate unless it was under suspicious circumstances I could see, but just because they put them on death row I think that’s a waste of an autopsy to be honest, I mean they died because they got put to death on the electric chair or by lethal injection

let them have it, they are on death row focus on stopping the drugs coming in this country first before it gets to prison

Look these guards do bring in the drugs. They also bring in phones and weapons. But u want to punish the people inside and bust them for their having a phone All it does is give the people in there preoccupied and out of trouble. Phones should be allowed in there if the families can afford for their loved one to have one. These wall phones don’t work half the time. I know because my son can’t get in touch with me. And they need to start seeing the ones that have been wrongly incarcerated
They get locked up for drugs then get them in prison
The CO's are the one's most likely bringing it in and their leads turn a blind eye to it all in order to discredit all negative claims within their department! But, All should know this that if an execution goes wrong it is ultimately at the hands of both CO's giving & the death row prisoners for taking the drugs that could interfere with a proper law approved execution!
Why waste state funds doing an autopsy? Everyone knows drugs are readily available in all prisons. I live about 8 miles from Limestone Prison. They are constantly arresting private citizens for smuggling or throwing backpacks full of drugs over the fences. Just as the are constantly arresting state employees working in prisons for smuggling in contraband. Two years ago one of the wardens and his wife home was raided. Both were arrested for drugs. That is just one of several prisons in Alabama. If an inmate sitting in county jail can get high from smuggled in drugs so can a state inmate. Question is were the HELL are inmates getting money to pay off state employees? Has to come from their family members. Yet they are the first ones crying about deplorable prison conditions. Go figure. Let them get high, stoned or whatever. They will only fight each other to death or overdose and die.
