These comments are dense and ridiculous. The woman was DEAD!! They used her as an incubator and then performed surgery to remove a baby that machines kept alive. Imagine watching your dead child being ripped open to have a child that she will never see bc doctors want to say they saved a life. This woman didn’t Goni to preterm labor, This woman didn’t die of complications due to child birth. She was dead and they kept her body alive to have a child. That’s sick not the grandparents. The government is sick! And now this child has health issue due to being developed inside a dead body. Smh
the grandparents had to go through the traumatic process of watching their dead daughter incubate a baby because the state said they wouldn't save her life because she was pregnant they wouldn't even let her die properly. The fact people are calling the grandparents the monsters and not the state is insane
So, positive change is letting the baby die along with the mother? If I were the grandmother, I would be eternally grateful for the grandchild who carries the genes and spirit of my deceased daughter.
This is not a baby, it's a clump of cells! Hospitals have 48 hours to harvest organs from a brain dead person for a reason...the brain is dead and the body starts to decompose. If she had not been denied treatment in the 1st place due to being pregnant, they both would have had a chance.
I am not a fan of this family. They wanted that baby dead and still what him dead. Please don't give that child to this woman.

The baby is freaking here and now that the focus! Cause the mother definitely said numerous times it was her wasn’t their decision though they wanted the baby the hospital made the choice to keep her on life support and not them! Regardless of the situation I would think the mother would have wanted her baby saved yes it's hurtful but he's apart of her she carried him for 8 months until thin incident happened She wanted her baby I don't know why everyone is upset things happen but he's alive something good came out of it everything is for a reason & God knows what he's doing... That is her legacy. It worked. Now her existing child has a sibling. Love and life came from death. So now Chance will grow to see and hear ALL OF THIS! His grandmother begging them to kill her daughter and Chance. Then fighting to end his life…. This has nothing to do with the law. This has everything to do with a lawsuit… her daughter was gone. Already. The only game pulling her off support would have done back then was ending that baby’s life. I hope this boy grows to find out the truth about how hard his family fought for him to not exist.
YALL FAILED TO MENTION HER MEDICAL EMERGENCY WASN’T TAKEN SERIOUSLY & SHE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN SAVED HAD THE HOSPITAL NOT JUST SENT HER HOME WITH PAIN MEDS FOR A HEADACHE BUT INSTEAD DID SOMETHING TO LOOK AT HER BRAIN TO SEE WHY SHE WAS HAVING THESE HORRIBLE HEADACHES. If someone comes in with pain it should be checked out not assumed. I doubt many people run to a hospital for a typical headache. I’m sure it was beyond bearable when she went bc most people hate going to the hospital anyway bc they’re so rude, it’s cold, boring, and no one wants to be held there or forced to stay, most people I know avoid it until they absolutely just can’t. So if someone comes they should do their job and not assume. I took a man to the hospital for an abscess tooth. He wanted antibiotics, but bc he’s got bad teeth they instantly said we’re not giving you pain meds, & he said I didn’t come for pain meds that won’t heal it I can deal with the pain I have for years I need antibiotics this can kill me

What if the baby is here alone/with a disability.Who will take care of the child? It’s not completely about this case it’s about this law being questionable. She was an experiment.

I have read most of the comments but I don't see anything about. Chance's father is he even in the picture? if so what does he have to say about all of this I am on the fence so to speak we don't know all of the facts as to the wishes of the mother nor the father. but I do believe that everybody should pray for Chance and his older brother. I think if Chance's family does not want him then have them sign their rights to the child away and allow him to be adopted.To me all involved should stop their hatred and sit down and have a civilized conversation about what is in the best interest of the child instead of what's best for themselves. 🙏🙏

Georgia needs to redo this law, it’s ridiculous to put a woman and her family through that. Not only is it ridiculous to keep a woman alive to deliver a baby and putting her family through that pain, knowing she is gone. But I’m sure it’s a big expense to keep someone alive. God had plans for her and the baby, Georgia stepped in and went against God’s reason for that plan. I will be praying for the family, Chase and baby Chance. 💕🙏🏼 I wish you luck on your quest to change this law.

There's a lot of women who have been brain dead and pregnant but have been allowed to die in peace all while pregnant because never in history have you heard of a corpse birthing a baby! And families have to make the hard choice to let go.

They would had rather lost both , daughter which was brain dead and had the baby dead , than to give chance of life and kill him also that has a brother , I would be praising the Lord at least to have that baby that grew inside my brain dead daughter , the best gift our daughter could had left her son and family so much to be thankful for , I’m sure many parents would had chosen life for this baby . Unbelievable , maybe it comes down to the age of her mother going to raise the baby and her health, if she was an only child . There for abortions , you don’t want that baby , put him up for adoption so that he can be loved and not a burden as it seems .
