Where are people supposed to get this extra money and make three times the amount and then they have the nerve to be excited about raising the minimum wage to 12.77 🤷🏽♀️ and I Google, South Carolina. They’re still at 7.25 and their rent is like our rent where they migrating us someplace, but I can’t figure out where. We need at least $20 an hour to survive in VA let’s not forget rent electric food, gas, medical expenses, household objects, maintenance on the car and then your kids, school supplies and school supplies make it illegal to be homeless living in a tent

I truly feel for lady and her situation. HOWEVER. My husband and myself been married 60 yr raised 3 individuals. We are embraced to not be able to keep a roof over our heads. Section 8 is beyond our finger tips . The wait is way too long to just be denied. Never had to ask for help from the government. SS is all we have now. 401k has been gone. We will be homeless soon. My children are not responsible for our situation.
I predicted this. As soon as all prices went up nearly 20% and COLA increase did not match the increase, there will be more homelessness!!!

I can't find a place to live.period.I live in Russell county and there aren't any places to rent.When one becomes available,there is already someone already rented it The landlord is selling the house I am currently in.I can't afford to buy it bc of economy here 🤔

There may be a lot of empty housing bedrooms avail. If only people would get along with each other better and share nicely like a family, some housing could become affordbly available to share! Did not the 10 Commandments say to "love thy neighbor"? Some could also merge into a full house happy family, petty fuzziness aside!🤔👍
