🥰We have a black month to focus on the good that our community has done, but again it's history information, no actual experience, nothing like taking your kids cell phone from them for 48 hours and watch them fall spart, now whos the bully? Take the initiative and live as a person of color for a week and then a person of color live as a Caucasian for another week then we compare notes, video, and see if we have evolved or are we still a racist country. It turned ME into a KUNG FU PANDA!! Bullying is a state of mind. Teach your children self-preservation, autonomy, and resilience, not to allow others to have access to their feelings or emotions. Words can only hurt if you internalize them.**Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me**🥰

Our children today can't handle bullying!! can you imagine them having to live life back then? They could not handle life at ALL as a black person. MY PARENTS EXPERIENCE LIFE AS A PERSON OF CHARM ( COLOR) BACK THEN. IT WAS NoT THAT LONG AGO. Great people LIKE MLK, Mrs. PARKS stood up to take down the walls that separated a human race from discrimination and segregation. Children of all ages should experience this way of life that we were part of back then. My grandma lived that life, and I was bullied in school for being poor, but I didn't even know I was until I was informed by my schoolmates.. I never asked my parents about being poor, I always had food and clean clothes. It is good to feel what is on the history books EVEN IF IT IS JUST FOR A DAY, OR A WEEK, still knowing it is just a reenactment of what was real before your time when you had not yet walked on this earth. Then share the experience and HOW IT FELT TO WALK IN THEIR SHOES. IT GAVE MY PARENTS RESILIENCE!!
