I was Young When He Died. Still, I remember Crying When I heard of His Death. He Really Cared About American People, All Races. REST IN HEAVEN, PRESIDENT , JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY. 🌺.

he was a World War 2 vet. who survived having his uboat sunk. he worked for civil rights for all citizens, not just the white males. he advanced our science thru the NASA programs. our microwaves came out of NASA. he was not a perfect man. but he believed in the constitution and the rule of law. unlike our currant administration

His brother Robert I believe also would have been a good man as president. Unfortunately, his son is not someone I really think I trust. He stood strong against the Russians and always projected the truth and good for Americans. I was a junior in high school and we all cried for peace and justice to remain with his assassination! There was an unspoken hatred in those days against the colored. People didn’t speak it, but it was posted on restaurants doors, bathrooms, and on town billboards only on the the east coast. I never saw anything posted on the west coast.

at my grandmother's house, there were two photos hanging by the front door, President Kennedys and the pope's.
He loved our country, the citizens of our country, and the rights of our country. He fought for our rights; regardless of our skin color, religion, any disability, sex, or political party. I've spent countless hours crying because great leaders of the 60's fought so hard for equality only to have it slowly chipped away by 1 orange fool. My heart aches. As a child of the 60's I feel hopeless at times, hopeless and scared.

I was about 6, still living in Texas, when this man was taken! I still remember we came back home the TV was on and my mother was crying so my father rushed over to her that's when she said; " Kennedy was shot and he's dead!" That's the only time I ever saw my father cry. That was a sad day around the world! We moved to California right after that!
