The biggest waste of money and time is being spent on visiting and one day trying to survive on a dead planet. There are planets light-years away we could visit that might sustain life, and our money would be better spent on finding ways to travel in space so we can visit planets where we could find habitation. Unfortunately, we are wasting time with a dead planet for some whack-a-mole nut case.
