The ONLY way to eliminate this Double Standard is to BAN the mother in every state from being allowed to get an Abortion. Because there are to many financial, moral and societal repercussions let's the father opt out of his responsibility. It's not fair to society or taxpayers letting a father opt out, this pushes the financial burden onto taxpayers to financial raise his children, we see enough of that now where mothers keep spitting out kids by different deadbeat fathers to collect more and more welfare, SNAP, Section 8 housing, ect. and believe they are entitled to these paymants like their coochie is some kind of generational business to freeload living off taxpayers ..

There needs to be a way to make it fais on both sides, of the mother wants to have a abortion thats her choice but if she wants to keep it and the father doesn't there should be a way to sign over his rights and obligation to pay support. Same for the mother if she doesn't want it but agrees to have the baby but then signs over to the father, again not being obligated to pay support as long as there's some kind of legal agreement.

I had a son at 17 years old. was not taught right and wrong. the grandmother was all for an abortion. me, thinking I was doing the right thing stood against it. (the mother was NOT part of the abortion conversation) grandma asked me in the car when it was just her and I. of course I said NO! first year, baby and mom lived with me. I supported both, she cheated, we split up, bam $5,000 back child support right away. 10 years of fighting with mom to see my son, so many fathers days, left waiting only to be crushed and told no I could see him. numerous other boyfriends claiming they were his dad now. fast forward, 10 years, she....
cause if woman gets rid of baby then it doesn't cost anything but a living breathing child will financially break someone so no it's not the same. also I'm conservative and they are looking at this the way libs look at things. the day conservatives start arguing like libs is the day the conservative party is truly gone.

We need to send out more support as communities on bringing back the nuclear family. Why is there more talk about rights to abortion versus the right to have a loving husband along with a new life. a dad can fight for the pregnancy if he knows about it, he can also sue her for emotional distress and other things if he finds out she does it anyways or he finds out after the fact. he does have rights if he wanted or wants the baby and was able to take custody and care for the child. Washington state the dad's have rights. the mom can complain all she wants but if she isn't dying and the dad wants the kid she has to carry it most of the time.
