The ONLY way to eliminate this Double Standard is to BAN the mother in every state from being allowed to get an Abortion. Because there are to many financial, moral and societal repercussions let's the father opt out of his responsibility. It's not fair to society or taxpayers letting a father opt out, this pushes the financial burden onto taxpayers to financial raise his children, we see enough of that now where mothers keep spitting out kids by different deadbeat fathers to collect more and more welfare, SNAP, Section 8 housing, ect. and believe they are entitled to these paymants like their coochie is some kind of generational business to freeload living off taxpayers ..

I had a son at 17 years old. was not taught right and wrong. the grandmother was all for an abortion. me, thinking I was doing the right thing stood against it. (the mother was NOT part of the abortion conversation) grandma asked me in the car when it was just her and I. of course I said NO! first year, baby and mom lived with me. I supported both, she cheated, we split up, bam $5,000 back child support right away. 10 years of fighting with mom to see my son, so many fathers days, left waiting only to be crushed and told no I could see him. numerous other boyfriends claiming they were his dad now. fast forward, 10 years, she....
There needs to be a way to make it fais on both sides, of the mother wants to have a abortion thats her choice but if she wants to keep it and the father doesn't there should be a way to sign over his rights and obligation to pay support. Same for the mother if she doesn't want it but agrees to have the baby but then signs over to the father, again not being obligated to pay support as long as there's some kind of legal agreement.
it's coming down to signing contracts before screwing. if woman keeps child and man doesn't want to. then no child support. here's an idea. Stop acting like dogs in heat.

I think she was saying a woman can't be forced to have an abortion but the man can sign his rights away and she can still have the baby. I feel like they were on the same page almost but kinda fumbled the feminism at the end.
It's simple and it works both ways the only one that suffers from this is the child cause the parents only see the benefits of having or not having the child a child didn't ask to be conceived & be brought into this world

first off I want to get it clear as a man I don't believe in abortion unless it's an extreme cases you know like forcible rain everything so forth on like that I can understand that obviously I don't quite approve of killing babies but I can understand situations where the mother just can't have the baby but the first lady's right we have no say so and whether or not you choose to get an abortion cuz this has happened to me my child was aborted and I had no say so in at all I feel like the men should have the same choices to women and the women shouldn't have no voice in their choice at all I feel everything you eat when did she get the same rights to me and get and vice versa
So sorry for this but I agree 100 percent. I hate to say this but there are so many woman that do this to trap us men. I've been working my knuckles to the bone for over 30 years and will never catch up financially. I love my 3 children to much but it's the mother,my ex-wife,that barried me financially.

the shit I had to go through with child support, 100% destroyed something that should have been a blessing. it's all in the past now, but it's a legitimate jail sentence for 18 to 26 years. soured my entire view of the world, now I'm all burned up, forgotten, and just waiting to die, because I was good for absolutely nothing except making damn sure that 1800 a month as a carpenter was paid. All you young guys, never get married, think LOOONG and hard about laying down with someone, when maybe 10 minutes to rub one out was all you needed.
